Cappuccino Custard Sauce
Description:
This heavenly custard is rich yet not-too-sweet. The flavor complements many desserts and the sauce is divine drizzled over angel food cake, crepes or simple meringues.
Makes about 1 ¾ cups
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups heavy (whipping) cream
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
4 egg yolks
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon Grand Marnier to taste
