Panna Cotta Al Caffe
Description:
Panna Cotta is a classic gelatin Italian dessert usually flavored with almond and vanilla. In this recipe, espresso and Kahlua gives the dessert a sophisticated taste.
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 package (2 teaspoons) unflavored gelatin
1 cup milk or half-and-half
1 ½ cups heavy (whipping) cream)
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoon instant espresso powder
3 tablespoons Kahlua or Tia Maria liqueur
Optional Garnishes, Sweetened whipped cream, 6 chocolate-covered espresso beans or lemon twists.
